Introductory --- Designed for psychologists who may have little to no background in a specialized skill or content area. The learner can become acquainted with the theoretical underpinnings, principles, methods, and perspectives of a content area. Although it can be used as a foundation for more advanced learning, a program may simply focus on breadth, enrichment or general knowledge.
Course Description and Target Audience
A Brief history of the field of ABA will be presented. Consideration of deficits related to the diagnosis of Autism will be discussed. Videos will be shown of ABA treatment with a spectrum of learners. A Case study will be presented from a diagnostic evaluation to treatment & back again.

- Participants will list differences in Behavior Modification and ABA.
- Participants will utilize better understanding of clients who may benefit from ABA assessment and treatment.
- Participants will identify ways in which treatment data may clarify diagnostic questions.
- Participants will list resources for behavior therapy for multiple diagnoses.

Video Homestudy Format
CE’s for this homestudy training will be earned through completing the following tasks:
- Watch the presentation video and review all provided documents in their entirety.
- Pass the post-test questionnaire with at least 80% correct.
